Additional Drafting Services.
Our field consultation services are available to you 24/7. We know machines do not work from 9 to 5!
SDI offers a host of additional drafting services including: Mechanical Drafting, Machine Design, Contract Machine Shop Part Inspection, Plate CAM Reproduction, 3D Modeling and Rendering, Plotting Services and Field Consultations.  Our team is available to meet with you to discuss your business needs.  We can also arrange for a demonstration of our CMM equipment at your convenience.
We own the software so you don’t have to.
In addition, our software capabilities are quite extensive.  We have licenses for SolidWorks, MicroStation, AutoCAD, CADKEY and FastSURF.  We have successfully transferred information into Smartcam, Mastercam and Pro-E.  SDI is well versed and will adjust our CAD systems to support your own.
Eliminate inconsistencies between drawings and parts.
Contract Machine Shop Part Inspection.  SDI will verify that parts are manufactured to the specifications indicated on your drawings.  Our technicians use equipment that can quality check your parts for all tolerances down to 0.0001” (repeatable).  We can even have reports generated to inspect for geometric tolerances such as concentricity, flatness, parallelism, and all the rest.  We handle both small and large quantitative inspections. 
Plotting Services.  If you have plotting needs, SDI will receive your electronic drawing file in any format and plot it for you.  This includes files downloaded from the Internet or files sent through any other electronic media.  We’re here to help you see the drawings, no matter who sends them, no matter what program they’re using.  Click Here to see our standard plain paper plotting price sheet. 
Field Consultations.  We offer technical solutions and recommendations to your mechanical problems or system failures.  We’ll modify your existing equipment to achieve increased production.  You can always count on us during preventative maintenance schedules as well.
