have been in the part procurement business for several years and
our existing clients value our ability to save costs on managing
the quotation process and procuring top quality parts for their
store-room needs. Our
clients simply send a drawing to us and request a quote.
We find the lowest price matched with the best machine
shops to manufacture the parts.
If we have a lower price than your existing price, then
we get a PO to make the parts.
The parts are guaranteed to work per the drawing
specifications.

We work with custom machine components and relay that
information into models and drawings.
We know how to communicate pertinent data to machinists
to get parts manufactured. We
are available to answer technical questions regarding custom
parts if your existing drawings are unclear to a machinist.
We
work with many machine shops, but we are not a machine shop.
Drawings that are created by SDI for your company are
owned by your company. Some
machine shops will reverse engineer a part for you and then keep
the sketches and drawings or only give you part of the drawing,
thereby forcing you to return to them for more parts.
With SDI, you are free to use any machine shop that you
want or let SDI manage those procurement services for you.
You have the freedom to choose.
If
you do not have a drawing of your part or you want to make some
changes to your existing parts, then SDI can make a drawing for
you through our Reverse Engineering services and then we can get
manufacturing quotes for you.
